Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Telecom Business Analyst with a major corporation in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
Candidates must be local to central Florida
Must be able to interact well with many internal stakeholders and at varied levels.
The ability to identify patterns and trends and report this analysis to management is key as well.
Description:
Enterprise Technology/Telecom is looking for an individual with the ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing opportunities. The ideal candidate is a thought partner who is highly motivated and a self-starter. The Business Analyst must have a strong background in accounting/finance to address operational and financial risk associated with projects
• Liaison with Managed Service Partner on account; addressing issues to reconciliation
• Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) by recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities
• Contributes to the definition, monitoring and communication of success metrics by project. On an ongoing basis, monitor the metrics of all projects for significant deviations.
• Effectively and concisely communicate problems, issues, risks, solutions, etc. both via written and oral methods to appropriate stakeholders and leadership. Ability to develop presentations, communications and training. Participates in training development
• Liaise business requirements from stakeholders to all necessary parties
• Delivers budget, quarterly forecast, long range plan, mini-forecast. Monthly/quarterly closes along with ad-hoc reporting
• Prepares cash flow reporting for managers and gathers variances analysis for consolidated reporting to finance partners
• Facilitates capitalization of projects with fixed assets team
• Gathers information and preps documents for LTP, AOP and ACP.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience as an Analyst with 2+ years demonstrated experience in accounting, finance or business processes
• Anticipate next steps, future opportunities, and take appropriate actions to support the business needs
• Accustomed to managing large scale, highly matrixed projects
• Advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Working knowledge of the features, functions, and transaction processes in SAP
• Demonstrated strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Proven success collaborating with a range of partners while understanding multiple perspectives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey data and analysis to internal and external customers; effectively able to extract and explain the "story” from the data
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, partnering, relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills up and down the organizational structure to convey key elements in a concise and positive manner
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college; professional certification desired but not required (ITIL, PMO and or IIBA) or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education:
• Graduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field (MBA, MSA, etc.)
