Description:
Data and Analytics team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to help drive business-critical initiatives across the enterprise landscape. You will enable alignment throughout the delivery life cycles as follows:
You will be responsible for planning, and executing complex programs with a goal of delivering a unified experience for data. Primary goal will be to enable senior management, leadership teams, and individual contributors to achieve predictable planning, execution, and reporting quality with expertise in project tools and appropriate methodologies. Key aspects of this role will be to establish goals, metrics, build roadmaps, coordinate platform upgrades, and work with governance-architecture-quality on policy implementation and training. By working with software engineers, data engineers and data analysts, Technical Program Managers and other managers in the spaces of Data Governance and Data Quality, you will help build data products that allow the valuable data to be translated into actionable insights! In addition, this involves exposure and engagement with owning cutting edge initiatives in areas of Enterprise Data, Analytics and A.I.

What you’ll do
Build strategic relationships with key technology and business leaders to ensure program success
Provide key players across teams with visibility and input into priorities throughout the delivery lifecycle to proactively build-in solutions that drive analytics & business decision making
Drive intake and prioritization of the work in support of various initiatives to accelerate the integrated designs, and cross platform solutions, identify & mitigate risks, and remove blockers.
Conduct quarterly planning across the teams to better balance competing priorities, set feasible delivery projections based on delivery velocity, and establish a baseline delivery plan from which to evaluate the impact of shifting priorities for expedited features & capabilities during the quarter.
Lead efforts to identify risks, resolve key project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths
Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver
Develop and execute a change management and communication plan and engage with the users to report progress and raise issues

Basic Qualifications:
Drive execution and delivery of multiple high-profile technical, product or software development projects from start to finish
Manage intra- and inter-team dependencies, highlight project blockers and risks and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
Track and manage dependencies across multiple projects; lead escalation processes to make issues visible to stakeholders and leadership; drive resolution of dependency issues through the process.
Partner with project teams to identify interdependencies, conflicts and risks associated with delivery. Identify and manage all project dependencies and critical path
Collaborate with Product Managers on project objectives, provide clear communications to teams and stakeholders on milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
Develop trusted partnerships with stakeholders by collaborating and delivering on common goals. Ensure that projects and priorities support partner’s strategic plans and each project is managed to ensure on-time implementation and flawless execution.
Facilitate backlog grooming and story deconstruction. Manage demand by working closely with all constituents to prioritize programs and projects based on business needs, resource capacity, risk exposure and interdependencies. .
Maintain a clear overview of project timelines (Agile/Kanban boards, Gantt charts, spreadsheets, etc.) and progress using project and task management tools (primarily in Jira and Confluence).
Provide timely updates on the status of projects to a cross-functional audience in multiple formats. ” Leverage Agile and SDLC methodologies to lead teams on a daily basis to the successful delivery of software development projects in accordance with the delivery framework and established best practices.
Remove impediments; track blockers and report slippages with workable mitigation plans.
Create and maintain project documentation (primarily in Confluence) that is the single source of truth about a project to keep teams aligned and informed.
Collaborate with teams to refine existing methodologies and develop enhancements and changes that result in efficient, repeatable delivery. Implement standards, processes & practices, project status reporting and resource management methodologies that ensures projects are delivered against expectations, on schedule and on budget.

What to bring
Bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science, or another related field.
5 years of experience in program management, preferably with a focus on data architecture, business intelligence, relational databases or big-data technology
Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
Experience building broad, large-scale communications plans
Love for Data and taking chaos and turning it into something actionable
High sense of ownership and a focus on building fast without sacrificing quality
Experience in Agile software development with expertise in Scrum methodology and practices.
Good understanding of ETL processing, Web Application development cycle
Working knowledge of modern program management, analysis, and reporting tools such as Wrike, Trello, Jira/Confluence, and MS Office
Knowledge of SDLC, data engineering, data modeling, data warehousing and big data platforms

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with cloud technologies or technical operations.
Experience working in big data environments using tools such as Hive, Presto, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and data visualization (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Thoughtspot).
Good understanding of ETL processing, reporting (SSRS), relational databases (MSSQL, MySql)
