Must Haves:
Based in Anaheim, CA and reporting to the Synergy Manager, the Synergy Coordinator (Contractor) will support strategic partnerships that will help drive the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) and Media and Entertainment Distribution (DMED) businesses forward.
You will partner with business leaders across Resort, with possible extensions to Parks and Signature Experiences, to support key Streaming and Studios priorities and initiatives.
You will work with Non-Broadcast Synergy partners to evaluate and manage requests that have potential for needle-moving, mutually beneficial programs.
To be successful, you must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be resourceful, creative, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects with limited supervision.
• Support innovative, strategic, and impactful Synergy and Partnership Marketing campaigns
• Help coordinate recurring meetings with cross-functional Parks teams to learn about upcoming priorities and discuss possible strategic Synergy and Partnership Marketing campaign integrations. Collect agenda items, take meticulous notes, and distribute in a timely manner.
• Manage day-to-day communications with various Non-Broadcast Synergy partners and others, focusing on relationship management and collaboration. Help coordinate recurring meetings to pitch ideas and discuss partnership opportunities.
• Develop and maintain campaign one-sheets/plans that communicate the strategic approach, target audience, KPIs, and opportunities across digital, social, and experiential channels.
• Support campaign execution with internal and external groups while managing milestones, timelines, and budgets.
• Follow up with internal and external partners to obtain assets, copy, messaging, and other deliverables.
• Produce campaign recaps for internal and external partners. Conduct post-campaign analysis (calculating metrics such as reach/impressions and ROI) with an eye towards optimization and share best practices.
• Assist Director and VP on ad-hoc projects, presentations, one-sheets, and communications.
• Monitor landscape on an ongoing basis to identify trends and behaviors and inspire new and innovative opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in marketing, promotions, and/or advertising agency industry
• Experience in client/account management and project management
• Understanding of marketing techniques including digital, social, and experiential
• Ability to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Team player
• Top-notch collaboration skills and ability to effectively partner with business units, lines of business, and team members across Synergy, Partnership Marketing, and Promotions
• Familiarity with Resort and Disney Parks
• Enthusiasm about content, products, and experiences
Specific Skills Required:
• Must be proficient in the full suite of Office/Mac software including Outlook, Keynote, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Must have basic skills and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Premiere, and Media Encoder
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be deadline driven, detail-oriented, and able to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines and project deliverables
Preferred Qualifications:
Entertainment, travel, and experiential marketing experience a plus
