Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for a REMOTE Sales Account Manager – Northeast Region.

4+ month contract

Job Description:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of approx. 200 travel partner agencies located in two key sales territories (Baltimore/Boston). Daily account management responsibilities will be supplemented with new business prospecting and various administrative tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily outbound calls to trade accounts to communicate promotions, pricing and product updates.
• Provide timely responses to inbound partner communications, including customer service escalations and booking assistance.
• Assist trade accounts with Espresso system account set-up, training and troubleshooting.
• Support new group business prospecting efforts, including lead research and cold calling.
• Attend and support sales/marketing events, including some nights and weekends.
• Administrative tasks as requested. (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Salesforce)

Required Skills:
• Sales, Account Management or Customer Service Experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Preferably some Salesforce experience as well (open to teaching).
• Positive attitude and customer service etiquette on phone and in e-mail communications.
• Flexibility and effective time management with multiple assignments.
• Comfortable making cold-calls for prospect information and meeting requests.

Required Education:
Bachelors Degree

Required Years of Experience:
At least 2 years of sales, account management, or customer service experience. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
