Software Resources has a direct hire job opportunity for a Principal Technical Program Manager – CTPS Core Services Tech PMO. Location is either Phoenix, AZ or San Diego, CA.

If so, keep reading as we are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to join Customer Trust and Partner Support (CTPS).

CTPS is responsible for creating a trustworthy shopping experience across stores worldwide by protecting customers, brands, selling partners from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse as well as empowering, providing world‐class support, and building loyalty with our millions of selling partners. The Core Services owns the suite of products that enables teams across CTPS and Amazon to build solutions to evaluate risk and to prevent or mitigate negative customer experiences. We are responsible for developing high scale machine learning systems that empower scientists to move faster in response to bad actors. We also provide high quality, curated data sets that drive risk model development.

We are looking for a Principal TPM to lead the Core Services' three-year initiatives as we evolve the state of the art machine learning solutions for the CTPS business.


  • 10+ years of data driven technical program management experience including partnering closely with software development teams
  • Track record of managing complex product development cycles and working with engineering teams to define, scope and prioritize projects
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to analyze data and develop metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, data-driven, and entrepreneurial environment. Experience defining and launching accessible products or services


  • Strong technical acumen, and understanding/curiosity about machine learning and data science.
  • MBA or Master's degree in Technology (Computer Science, Computer Engineering)
