Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Manager, Global Strategy – Consumer Impact with a major corporation in Orlando, FL. 

POSITION SUMMARY: 

This position supports Parks and Resorts' strategic direction by estimating demand for longer-term new investments and developing & executing creative analytical plans for shorter-term corporate strategy projects.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Analysis
  • Conduct feasibility analysis of new business opportunities by analyzing past trends to predict the future of consumers/guests and the business
  • Translate complex business questions into strategic assessments
  • Advise senior leadership on macroeconomic and competitive developments and their impact on specific business areas
  • Craft strategic recommendations to further organizational goals
Data Analysis
  • Build demand models to determine attendance targets leveraging proven consumer insights, macroeconomic forecasts, and internal performance
  • Develop & explore analytical frameworks and methodologies to address mid- and long-term business questions
  • Leverage advanced analytics including quantitative, statistical, and/or data science techniques
  • Translate data to insights, clearly conveying the meaning behind the results
Business Integration
  • Effectively convey information & recommendations to clients & senior leadership through well-crafted, persuasive narratives
  • Collaborate with Finance, Creative, Marketing & Sales, and other teams to look at the business holistically and ensure we are all working towards the same mid- and long-term strategies
Team Leadership
  • Independently manage own project timelines & plans
  • Contribute to the betterment of team's work by informally mentoring other Team Members
 
EDUCATION:  Bachelor's degree required – Business, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline. Master's degree preferred.
 
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience developing and executing strategic analyses.

  • Experience communicating complex results clearly & persuasively to senior leadership
  • Strong project management skills & ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
Preferred:
  • Statistical/modeling expertise (Python, R, SAS, etc.)
  • Experience partnering with Consumer Insights/Market Research function; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
