Software Resources has an immediate, direct hire, job opportunity for a REMOTE Director, Business Process Performance and Optimization w ith a global organizational consulting firm. EST hours required.

Candidates need to have a strong Salesforce background.  We are lookign for someone who is coming form the business-side and not the IT side because there is a separate implementation team.


POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director, Business Process Performance and Optimization COE is responsible for managing multiple inter-related projects within a given business strategy to the desired program results. This individual has the qualifications and business acumen to manage multiple large scale, high risk projects that span organizational boundaries including multiple business units and multiple service partners/vendors. They drive improvement, optimization and new capabilities to ensure systems are functioning, integrated, efficiently deployed and aligned with business and technical architecture. They oversee system upgrades, communications on system stability and improvements, as well as maintain documentation on business processes and systems. They reinforce the enterprise knowledge management through the communication of program lessons learned and best practices development.

The position is responsible for overseeing the projects and programs related to our Lead-to-Cash Business processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Work with Business Units as the subject matter expert in determining how best to utilize technology and work within system constraints to maximize efficiency, as well as guide on best-practices for business processes and procedures.
  • Manage and deliver end-to-end digital programs and initiatives, leveraging agile and design-thinking principles to drive sustainable implementation.
  • Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.
  • Design and execute methodologies to analyze and identify opportunities to improve processes, practices and procedures, uncovering opportunity for innovation, especially in the Lead-to-Cash space.
  • Develop approaches to programmatically deliver successful digital innovation engagements, translating generalised customer business goals and objectives into concrete program strategy and tactical plans.
  • Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the Digital Transformation's strategy and business plan within various business areas and departments; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
  • Deliver baseline assessments and post-implementation analyses to evaluate and track the realization of business benefits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
  • Minimum of seven years of relevant work experience as a Program Manager and/or Business Analyst.
  • Experience leading business transformation and technology programs in fast-paced Technology / SaaS companies.
  • Strong ability in MSFT office (or similar) technology to visualize complex processes and concepts and provide data analysis (MSFT, PPT, Excel, Project Plan).
  • Demonstrated track record of anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders with the ability to work with senior level executives across multiple business lines and regions.
  • Capable of applying knowledge of the business and the marketplace to advance the organizations goals, seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies.
  • Makes sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Liaison and consultative skills: negotiating skills within a context of high political sensitivity and conflicting interests.
  • Strong writing, mentoring, decision-making, communication, and meeting facilitation skills; ability to utilize a combination of formal authority and persuasion skill sets.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change.
  • Exceptional leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers and team members.
  • Ability to manage in a heavily matrixed environment.
EDUCATION:
A bachelor's degree is required or equivalent work experience.
