Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for a Digital Media Producer with a major corporation in Miami, Fl. Contract will require 2-4 days in office downtown Miami, FL

6+ month contract with potential to extend.

2-4 days for initial training and then will be more flexible, but official policy will be 2-4 days, so Must be local to Miami, FL — this is a hybrid role that will become very flexible over time

Position Summary:
Based in Miami, FL and reporting to the Digital Media Manager, the Digital Media Producer will be responsible for understanding and executing the organization, maintenance and distribution of digital assets. The Digital Media Producer is responsible for working with large volumes of content, defining best practices for the long-term use of our DAM software as well as working with development teams to identify and develop improvements. Working as an individual contributor, the producer will be required to collaborate with various technology, marketing, and operations teams to help facilitate asset needs from pre-production through post-production and final delivery/cataloguing. By collaborating with brand and marketing partners across the organization, the producer will help translate the brands’ voices stylistically into our digital products and make creative decisions that define the look and feel of assets across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be expected to navigate multiple asset management systems as well as work within a content management system to ensure all digital content is properly organized, tagged and maintained. They will be responsible for curating and producing photography based on tour descriptions, managing assets both to and from our ships and collaborating with vendors as needed. The Digital Media Producer is responsible for not only delivering quality assets into the DAM but ensuring they look great across all digital touchpoints. This position requires both a technical and creative understanding of media for modern e-commerce platforms and mobile applications.

Must Haves:
  • Experience with a CMS (Content Management Systems- should be able to name at least one and articulate their experience in it)
  • Experience with a DAM (Digital Asset Management- should be able to name at least one and articulate their experience in it)
  • Destination photography asset management and curation
  • Comfortable working at scale with digital media (large volumes of files)
  • Comfortable working with google sheets and photoshop (a must) Figma experience nice to have but not required
  • Comfortable working remotely as needed
  • Experience in e-commerce would be great
  • Portfolios are preferred if available, but not required
  • This is not an on-set production role or a photography role —This is focused on working with existing assets, procuring stock and managing photography within a digital/technology space. i.e.: traditional web producer but with an emphasis on media and digital asset management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Translate brand/marketing creative direction into our digital products through media curation and production
  • Help identify areas to improve the quality of our assets and shape the look and feel of our digital products through media
  • Identify unique ways to organize and manage the entire digital asset life cycle from creation to distribution, production, and archiving
  • Demonstrate an understanding of legal issues around asset use and create solutions that serve both creative and legal requirements
  • Find elegant and creative solutions to regular system issues in the everyday use and access to our Content and Asset Management Systems
  • Participate and drive the development and maintenance of asset metadata models incorporating industry standards
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as the program evolves

  • Undergraduate degree in relevant field (Photography, Design, Marketing etc.) or equivalent work experience/training
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working in digital related fields (technology, design, etc.)
  • Prior experience in digital media role with proven experience managing large volumes of content
  • Demonstrated experience translating brand and marketing assets into responsive designs
  • Experience in cruise industry preferred

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Demonstrated success working with digital assets: photography & video
  • Able to apply sound judgment while working independently within tight timelines
  • Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to visually translate tour descriptions from written word documents into photography and video
  • Hands-on technical experience with library systems, content management systems (CMSs), or other large searchable databases used in the creation of web pages, media, and digital products (mobile apps, digital signage)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (or similar) and experience with DAM software
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) — Photo focused but nice to have some video experience
  • Figma experience a bonus but not required
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of content / experience using Google Sheets and or Excel / Smartsheet to track and communicate progress — must be confident in using google sheets on a regular basis
  • Proven understanding of image compression, image file types and best practices for media for web and mobile
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence or similar Agile collaboration tools
  • Must be well organized, methodical and pay close attention to detail
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Possess excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Able to work well in a highly collaborative cross discipline team
  • Flexible and adaptable in an evolving "start-up” like environment
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Proactive and solution oriented with the ability to anticipate the larger groups’ needs
