Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for an Associate Technology Inventory Specialist with a major corporation in Glendale, CA. 

Location/Schedule: Monday thru Friday – Not remote – Work on-site

Description:
The Associate Technology Inventory Specialist (ATIS) serves as a main point of contact for the Technology department's hardware and software inventory. The ATIS provides support to the department, its management and finance on all topics and efforts related to the department's Technology asset inventory. The ATIS works with department management to design and maintain workflows involving: asset tagging, tracking inventory use levels, inventory / license distribution, retirement, and tracking technologies.

• Administer the department's inventory catalog.
o Reoccurring logging of production inventory information into inventory tracking system.
o Validating inventory changes occur with supporting job tickets.
o Perform routine inventory verifications.
o Balance inventory loads between multiple locations.
o Tracking and communication of inventory trends.
o Keeping a "watchful eye” on how inventory trends affect department and production workflows.
o Perform financial audits and capital asset verifications as needed.
• Maintaining various inventory and technical job and database systems.
• Maintain technical documentation outlining inventory processes and department procedures.
• Order new inventory as directed.
• Maintain department technology standard worksheets.
• Oversee inventory retirement processes.
• Perform other misc. tasks as instructed by department management.
• Provide support to department personnel and management using various technologies.
• Provides user level system administration.
• Creating inventory reports as needed across multiple data sources

Basic Qualifications:
• Maintaining various inventory and technical job and database systems.
• Maintain technical documentation outlining inventory processes and department procedures.
• Order new inventory as directed.
• Maintain department technology standard worksheets.
• Oversee inventory retirement processes.
• Perform other misc. tasks as instructed by department management.
• Provide support to department personnel and management using various technologies.
• Provides user level system administration.
• Creating inventory reports as needed across multiple data sources.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Must have 1-3+ years working computer experience.
• Must have 1-4+ years working with technical inventory and inventory control systems.
• 1 to 3 years of experience working with (advanced troubleshooting and configuration experience) Linux or UNIX, Mac OS and Microsoft Windows based systems in a network environment.
• Must have a strong technical problem solving ability.
• Must have a strong customer service orientation and have the ability to work with a diverse user community.
• Experience managing hardware and software assets.
• Must be well organized, detailed oriented and have good follow through skills.
• Experienced with technical administrative tools in a networked environment.
• Able to communicate technical information effectively both written and verbally.
• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to work in a fast pace, production critical team environment.

Bachelors or equivalent
