Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for a REMOTE Associate Product Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
-Helping with product approvals
-Help with art assets to digital media center
-Support special projects on trend boards and product direction boards
-Communication with licensees

Must Haves:
1) Must have graphic design skills
2) Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
3) Must know about products-(soft textiles, furniture, décor, pet apparel, pet toys) Hard and soft goods

Description :
You will support the Product Design team of Home, Pets, Seasonal and Stationery categories for the franchises from concept through production working with our teams and licensees. You should have a background in design and product development with an understanding of product concept creation, the product lifecycle, manufacturing techniques, and understanding of market and fashion trends.

This position will report to the Senior Manager.

  • Manage product approvals from concept creation through production, including creative direction
  • Handle reviewing of digital/ physical product samples ensuring product execution, print techniques, & sculpts are in line with brand guidelines.
  • Manage and execute product and licensed packaging approvals through online systems and collaborative approval meetings, ensuring high quality standards in character execution, in-depth storytelling, color, material, form and function while maximizing profitability
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with Licensees and internal partners overseeing all creative aspects of product development.
  • Prepare creative mock-ups and mood boards for internal & external presentations and retail pitches
  • Multi-task and prioritize multiple design projects, running simultaneously with varying levels of complexity
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Proven understanding of softlines product lifecycle, print techniques, and some 3D development experience
  • Strong knowledge in hardlines/softlines categories (raw materials, plastic, textiles, print, pattern, graphic composition, manufacturing)
  • Highly motivated, self-starter
  • Exhibits ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer software skills (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote)
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or Relevant experience
