We are looking for an Assistant Editor for our client in Burbank, CA.

Position is Hybrid in Burbank, CA, would have to come on site in a hybrid capacity, which will be considered collaboration days.

Duration: 2 month(s) with the potential to extend

The Assistant Editor will support the Creative Marketing team in the finishing, encoding and adapting of their A/V material. They will work closely with the AV Producer(s) to ensure all A/V assets are finished according to brand guidelines and by tight media deadlines. They will be responsible for exporting/importing prep materials including Audio and Video AAFs and Graphics Renders to create and deliver final deliverables.

• Use Premiere Pro to build master sequences
• Ingest and overcut with source material
• Add bugs and lower thirds to all spots based on Brand Guidelines
• Update end cards based on versioning needs
• Sync final audio mixes with final video
• Reformat 16×9 video files to social sizes (9×16, 1×1) as necessary
• Export, encode, and upload final deliverables
• Follow strict naming convention for final deliverables, including ISCI numbers
• Maintain a clean and organized file structure for finishing projects and sequences

Required Education and Experience:
• 1-2+ years experiences marketing entertainment editorial.
• Worked at either a studio, network, or agency environment with an extensive knowledge of AV formats, deliverables and the layers and processes behind creative marketing.

Skills and Capabilities:
• Experience with Premiere Pro and Media Encoder required.
• Experience with After Effects a plus.
• Knowledge of video specs including file types, codecs, raster sizes, frame rates, etc.
• Keen eye for detail and QC.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines on multiple projects with varying factors simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure successful interactions, strong working relationships and the ability to interface with varied levels of management, peers and partners across varying teams.
• Highly collaborative creative sensibility, with ability to be open minded to feedback.

Required Education:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
