Work closely with business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. Actively participate in development projects as well as on application sustainment teams. Must be proficient in the use of one language such as Java or C# and the associated development tool sets. Individuals will work with our business partners and will participate in the designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting of applications in accordance to the ITIL Service Lifecycle. Assist in coordinating the efforts of supplier teams when needed to develop or sustain the application environment. Develop software components and applications unit tests. Estimate effort for assigned development tasks. Design and develop code in accordance with industry best practices and coding standards through peer code reviews and utilization of tools provide by our internal COE. Familiarity with one or more technical areas relevant to the organization's work. Assist in coordination of application outages in support of server patches, vulnerability management and other necessary sustainment activities. Perform triage and analysis of application incidents, trouble tickets to provide possible short term and long-term resolutions as appropriate based on the business priority. Minimum 2 years relevant experience. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

• Perform hands on (white box / grey box ) end to end application security assessments including source code reviews, vulnerability scans, manual pen tests and possibly lean threat modeling or design reviews.
• Provide security expertise and technical leadership while collaborating with security specialists, program managers, developers and all levels of management to execute on strategic and tactical goals to improve security of applications, software code, and infrastructure.
• Review identified vulnerabilities and work with stakeholder to provide both prescriptive and descriptive remediation recommendations.
• Contributes to Enterprise security team efficiency by accomplishing additional security related results as needed
• Technical oversight to security specialists

Basic Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of information security components, principles, practices, and procedures
• Strong background in application security, manual pen test, source code audit, secure software development lifecycle and vulnerability remediation
• Strong experience in dynamic scanners e.g. Acunetix, static code analyzers e.g. Checkmarx, open source library scanners e.g. Snyk, manual pen test tools e.g. Burp
• Experience working with major cloud environments (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Excels in operations, resource management and tactical planning
• Proven experience in web application, service-oriented architectures, infrastructure, and internet security along with a general understanding of common operating systems, networking protocols, database, and application development
• 5-10 years security service delivery or operation experience in large global organizations with increasing focus on security practices • Recommend innovative solutions to solve security concerns
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and other similar frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in security architecture review and threat modeling techniques
• Automation, configuration management, and developing infrastructure as code e.g. Terraform
• Be proactive in tracking information security trends, standards, and practices to identify needs for enhancing or developing security solutions
• Experience in Identify security considerations for design and deployment of new applications, technologies, and solutions across the enterprise
• Ability to present technical information to executives in a non-technical manner
• Promote awareness of applicable security policies and standards
• Industry security and systems certifications

Required Education:
BS Degree or equivalent work experience
