We are looking for an Administrative Admin for an major entertainment client with some experience in scripted series development or current programming experience.

Description: General Entertainment (DGE) is seeking an Executive Assistant to support an Executive Director-Current Series and Director-Current Series within Freeform. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings and managing calendars, tracking deadlines and material deliveries, scheduling travel, submitting expense reports, planning events and production gifts, and other administrative duties as needed. This role requires someone with a professional communication style and can represent the executive office when interfacing with senior executives inside and outside the Company. This role also requires a high level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information. The ideal candidate will be a ready collaborator, dependable, a self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple or shifting priorities.

This position will also offer hands-on opportunities to read and discuss incoming material while gaining an understanding of the scripted production process under the mentorship of two executives. The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of story structure, be able to articulate opinions on materials, have an excitement for pop culture and Freeform’s original series, and have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Current Series.

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to Executive Director and Director
• Manage scheduling and calendar for Executive Director and Director
• Track incoming documents, production materials, and deadlines
• Handle travel arrangements, reservations, etc. for Executive Director and Director
• Submit and process expense reports
• Maintain databases, distribution lists, mailing lists, and filing systems
• Maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents
• Interface with various Disney departments and external organizations
• Provide backup to other assistants and contribute to common administrative duties
• Work as a team player within the department and assist where needed


* The company requires on-site workers to be fully vaccinated absent a legally required exemption approved by the vendor. Exceptions to the vendor vaccine requirement apply in states that have laws concerning employer vaccine mandates. Vendor must ensure that any unvaccinated workers follow applicable safety protocols when they are on-site. Specifically, for any of their workers who are not verified as fully vaccinated, it is the vendor’s responsibility to ensure that at all times when performing services on-site at a U.S. location or property, those individuals, at a minimum, will wear a disposable face mask certified by ASTM International with an ASTM Level 1 or higher rating (to be changed every day). If the individuals regularly work within three feet of others, the vendor must also implement a secondary mitigation measure such as a face shield or safety glasses. Please note that workers may only remove the face mask if the worker is alone in an office with the door shut, or the worker is six feet of distance from others and actively eating or drinking. Additional safety protocols may be required, as determined in the sole discretion of The Company or its affiliates. If requested, the vendor must inform its contact of any safety protocols the vendor has implemented for any of its workers while on-site at a location or property.

Basic Qualifications:
• 1+ years supporting executives in a corporate environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as SAP
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to see tasks through to completion
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Approachable style and the ability to work professionally with executives, staff members, talent, and visitors
• Self-starter, with ability to work with limited supervision, exercise good judgement, anticipate issues and proactively problem solve
• Demonstrated flexibility and professionalism in an environment where change is constant

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prev Disney experience highly preferred
• Interest in building on existing creative abilities and an awareness of pop culture and trends
• Demonstrates curiosity and a desire to understand the ‘big picture’ of scripted development and production

Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
